Wireless Mouse

A wireless mouse, also referred to as cordless mouse, is a type of mouse that connects to a computer without a cord or wire. Rather, the wireless mouse uses other forms of connectivity like radio (including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi), infrared radiation. For this to work, the receiver is usually plugged to the computer via the serial or USB port to receive signals from the wireless mouse or can be built-in (as is a times the case with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi). Modern non-Bluetooth and non-Wi-Fi wireless mice use USB receivers. Some of these can be stored inside the wireless mouse for safe transport while not in use, while other newer ones use newer “nano” receivers, designed to be small enough to remain plugged into a laptop during transport, while still being large enough to easily remove.
Wireless mouse needs batteries to function, such batteries may be AA batteries, AAA batteries, or rechargeable NiMH or Li-ion batteries. It is pertinent to note that a wireless mouse requires a base station to charge the batteries in the mouse.
The wireless mouse is convenient to use. You can get a small and portable wireless mouse, and be rest assured of no cable to worry about that can get tangled up in your stuff or drag things around your desk as you put it to use. This is why they are nice to travel with. Just like any other wireless device, you enjoy the extra advantage of using it away from the receiving device even as far as anywhere across the room.
A wireless mouse could be a wise choice if you use your television as your monitor and want to control it from your couch.  Wireless mouse come in handy if you want to use a mouse with your tablet which doesn’t have any USB ports, or maybe your computer is positioned too far from the keyboard and mouse area such as your desk and against the wall. Some wireless computer mice have been developed with placeholders on the device to hold the receiver and prevent it from being lost.
Exponent of wireless mice always have these considerations at the back of the mind like versatility. For instance, Logitech’s combined technology is an example where the mouse can open your other USB ports by pairing several devices to the same USB receiver. Certainly, this implies you need to acquire Logitech devices for all your peripheral needs, but it’s something to think about if you’re feed up of changing receivers. A wireless mouse is more appropriate to unplug and move between computers if you need to use the same mouse on your laptop and your desktop, for instance.

Another consideration of wireless mice is aesthetics. This may not be a primary reason to purchase a wireless mouse, but it makes a whole lot of sense that a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse combination on a minimalist desk just looks a lot better and more appealing. Some examples of top quality wireless mice include Logitech  MX Anywhere 2S wireless mouse, Magic Mouse 2, Logitech M570, Logitech G602, VicTsing 2.4G, Logitech M510 wireless mouse, Logitech Marathon mouse M705 etc.
